Ender 3 Main Board Cover Riser
thingiverse
So you upgraded your main board fan to a silent fan? If you bought the same size fan that can mount to the existing holes in the cover, then this riser might just be the thing for you. It allows you to get about 10 more height for clearance of a thicc boy fan like the Noctua 40x20. I remixed DiyProJames clever riser idea to not have all the venting holes (which is smart, but I wanted a cleaner / more simple look). I also included a little notch that matches up with the notch in the cover for wire management. This is such a great solution because it uses way less material than printing an entire cover. Props to the OG designer. If you need more height, feel free to remix and extrude to your desired length. Cura settings: 0.28 layer height (Low Quality) / No supports / 200C-60C temp / Hatchbox PLA
