Ender 3 Lower PSU case with rear power button/cable
thingiverse
I combined elements from other mods where the power cord is relocated to the rear, freeing up space by eliminating the cable protruding from the side. I merged this concept with JustinReynolds' innovative design. Using Fusion 360, a powerful 3D modeling tool, I made some adjustments to create my own unique version. Although I didn't include the two screw holds for securing the power switch initially, it's easy to accomplish with a drill. To avoid obstructing the rear extrusion end, I had to carefully maneuver one electrical prong into place. A slight bend was necessary to clear the way, but this shouldn't cause any short-circuit issues since the prong is safeguarded by a plastic sleeve. Moreover, relocating the power cord also meant sacrificing one of the screw holes used for securing the case to the PSU, but given its non-structural nature, I deemed it acceptable. I discovered that utilizing tree supports in Cura proved effective for this model. The support structure came out intact and didn't require any disassembly or adjustments.
