Ender-3 Left side Holder/Tray

Ender-3 Left side Holder/Tray

This is a LEFT side tray for my Creality Ender-3 printer. I designed this tray to keep essential items within easy reach, including Isopropyl, a craft knife, cloth, and several pens. To fit the box into place, you'll need to remove two screws that hold the 'electronics box' to the left 40mm rail section and three screws that secure the 'electronics box' top plate. This will allow you to gently slide the box into the v-channels on the rail section. Before starting, remember to switch off your printer from the mains supply. Also, be mindful of the fan in the 'control box' lid, which is connected to the 'circuit board.' Simply move it out of the way slightly to gain access. I found it helpful to have my printer overhanging a table edge so that the 'electronics box' could be lowered for easier installation. There's an optional part you can print and attach to the back of the holder/tray, which creates a guard between contents in the tray and the space occupied by the print head and 'X' motor when moving the print head to its home position. Update: When I printed this tray, I oriented it on its side. This resulted in a weak front edge on the optional back plate. To address this issue, I created another optional part that fits over the front edge of the holder/tray, providing additional strength and support.
