Ender 3 LED Light Strip Mount

This is a support for an LED light strip that was specifically designed and printed on an Ender 3 Pro. However, it should work with the Ender 3 or any other printer that has a 20mm 80/20 aluminum bar on top. The light track holds a 30 cm strip of 8mm wide LED light strip lights. I used this one from AliExpress. The mount is designed to hold the lights in an arc that is angled toward the print bed so that they focus the light on the print bed. The LED light strip slides easily into the curved channel on one side, and then you feed power wires through the back and solder them to the pads. Loops on the track and one of the arms guide the power wires back to the frame where you can then run them inside the 80/20 T-slots of the frame. I used this wire from Amazon. The LED track attaches to the Ender 3 top frame with three cantilever arms that slide into the T-slot. Each arm attaches to the light track with small T-slots that fit snugly. I also printed a mirror image to put lights on both the front and back of the printer. The lighting works very well. You can also power the LEDs directly from the Ender 3 power supply, though I haven't done this yet. A relevant tutorial is here. Update January 1, 2020 I added a 10mm wide LED strip track as requested. I have not actually printed the 10mm version, only the original 8mm version, so I have not verified that it works, but I have no reason to believe it wouldn't. If you print the 10mm size, please post it for confirmation. I can also add other track widths on request. Update May 12, 2020 Added a 12mm wide LED strip track as requested. Again, I haven't actually printed this variation.
