I created this spool holder for my Ender 3 because I couldn't find a suitable replacement from Creality, which has started shipping out new models without one. This design is a straightforward upgrade to the old spool holder. Since I have some unusually wide 1kg spools, I needed a longer spool holder. Do not use supports when printing this model. A resolution of .2 worked well for me, but you may achieve better threading results with a resolution of .1. To print the nut correctly, set your print settings to about 110% in both the x and y directions. This will ensure proper clearance for the threading process.
