Remixed Hotend Cap for Ender 3 #### Important Warning You must print this part with ABS or a filament with similar temperature resistance. This cap will closely contact the hotend and even ABS will be slightly melted. #### What's the Purpose of This Thing? The stock metal cap allows parasitic wind to blow onto the model, making it impossible to print with ABS without a thermobox. But with this cap, you can do it! As proof, just take a look at the photos. This version was printed with the original cap and there are no broken layers. What's funny: You need to print this shell with ABS when you have only the stock metal cover with huge holes. Good luck! #### What's Been Remixed? * Remove the thin stick at the bottom. It only prevents the cap from being set. * For the front fan, remove the 3mm holes. * On top, add a single window for cables and radiator. There is no need to guide or split it into sections. * Increase the size of the box and move the front fan further from the hotend by 4mm.
