NOTE I printed a part in ABS the other day. The 100C heat from the bed deformed this part pretty bad. Don't use this if you think you'll ever print ABS. A simple remix of a hotend brush. * I added an angle to the holder so the brush bristles would be just over the edge of the bed. * Added a place to hot-glue a magnet into the holder. This allows for a secure, but easily removable brush head. Removal makes bed leveling with the paper-trick much easier. * Re-Sized the holder to fit these brushes from Amazon. Just cut the handles off and drill a hole for a magnet. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06Y3XX3LD/) * Here is the snippet of GCode that I have in my Slic3r Filament Custom GCode. You'll need to fine-tune the values yourself to account for differences in printers. ; START first pre-brush G92 G1 Z10 F240 G0 X90 Y0 Z7 F8000 G0 X140 Y0 Z7 G0 X90 Y0 Z7 G0 X140 Y0 Z7 G0 X90 Y0 Z7 ; END first pre-brush * This is actually the complete custom filament gcode I have. After the hotend and bed are heated up, it does a brush, then runs a single strip of filament, then a final brush, before going onto the print.
