Ender 3 Hot End Cooling Enclousure for Noctua 40x20 Fan /w BL-Touch Mount
thingiverse
Hello guys! I designed a simple enclosure for the Noctua 40x20 fan to use on my Ender 3 printer, incorporating a BL-Touch mount from Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2493610). Everything prints out as one piece. I printed it with 100% infill, 0.15mm layer height, supports and brim. For the print, I positioned the fan guard facing down on the print bed. It took me about 5 hours to complete the print. To secure the Noctua fan, I used hot glue due to its simplicity. Use the original screws to mount the enclosure and part cooling fan. For power, you'll need a 12V source (assuming you have one). The default Creality fans run on 24V, so you'll require a step-down converter to power your Noctua fan. I utilized this converter from Aliexpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32833398745.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dyRFd3C and it works perfectly, with its compact size being an added bonus!
