Ender 3 Glass bed clips and z stop spacers
thingiverse
No surprise, my print bed is slightly bowl shaped. I purchased a 235mm x 235mm double strength sheet of glass and used https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2959614 to adjust the z stop. I decided that I wanted to be able to use the factory print surface, so I didn't have to remember to clean and reapply the purple stick glue. There are two sets of clips and z stops, one for use with just the aluminum bed and glass and one for both with the original print surface. __Use the clips for the bed as a temporary measure until you have a chance to get the recommended metal ones, the ones you print will slowly soften from use with the heated bed__ ======== __Update Aug 27, 2018:__ They are working fine on my system. Make sure that they are free of any brim. __Make sure the Z stop clip is fully seated or your z will stop too high.__ ===================================================== __Update Aug 31, 2018:__ I printed the clips with PETG and they worked fine printing PLA. Today I have been printing with PETG and the heated bed softened them enough that they no longer hold the glass and print surface still when I remove a part. The still have enough grip to hold it in place printing though.
