I upgraded my Ender 3 with an MKS-Gen L board and a RepRap discount full graphics controller. As housing for the display, I used this from the CR-10 Standalone Kit by Rics3d. As I didn't have any M5 T-Nuts and wanted to reuse the original display screw holes, I decided to design my own adapter for the case. It uses the same angle as the original display but is higher so you can easily access the SD-card slot without moving the bed around. To mount the holder to the aluminum extrusion, you can reuse the original M5 screws from the original Creality display. For mounting the display case to the holder, you need 3 M3 nuts and M3X16 bolts (but I think the original display screws should be fine; however, I haven't tested them).
