We house our 3D printer on a cabinet with a clear glass door, allowing for easy access and visibility. To keep our thumb drive within reach at all times, we chose a convenient location - just hang it right over the glass door! This setup still requires some adjustments, but I'm sharing it now in case it inspires someone else to create their own solution.
