I recently purchased a second Ender 3 and intend to modify it to feature dual extruders/hotends. The initial step is creating a holder for two filament spools. This new holder will be compatible with the original one, utilizing its bayonet locking mechanism. Update - October 28, 2019 I designed this primary holder in such a way that I could upgrade my first Ender 3.
