This holder is specifically designed for an Ender 3 and the tiny spindle that holds the filament spool can cause issues with larger spools. A typical 1 kg spool may flop around and create vibrations, leading to errors in your print or making you think they're happening. To fix this issue, this extension was created to increase the diameter of your spindle, allowing it to fit snugly inside your filament spool and eliminating slop and occasional flops.
