NEW UPDATE 4/22/2019 -WORKS FLAWLESSLY FOR ME - (Looking forward to feedback) I loosened the fit of the bolts to make them easier to work with. Added a fillet to the inside corner at the flange, making installation a breeze. Made the band thinner so it stretches easily. ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION I got the idea from adarkstudio to use the factory Ender 3 filament spool holder as a base and attach bearings to it to reduce friction on the filament roll. One part has a lip, one does not - I'm still figuring out if the lip is necessary, but having it ensures your roll stays in place. TWO ROLLER ASSEMBLIES ARE REQUIRED FOR YOUR SPOOL HOLDER. Mine uses less hardware and smaller bearings to accommodate Hatchbox and Amazon filaments with an inner diameter of 60 mm. The largest outer diameter of this roller design is 50.5 mm for the one without a lip, and 55.7mm for the one with the lip. I recommend using 4mm Phillips or Allen head bolts for the bearing and clamping onto the Ender shaft. The bearings used in this design are 4IDx12ODx4Wmm (4x12x4) 604zz bearings, available on Amazon or anywhere at a low cost.
