Ender 3 Filament Runout w/ Clip
thingiverse
v10: This raises the sensor so the 3d printer can still print with max clearance, also shifts it out a bit so it doesn't bang into the knob. Also added a knob with holes, I think this makes spinning it a lot easier. I wanted to use this filament sensor: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3411145 With this z-axis stabilizer: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3742340 So I remixed the sensor adding the little v-clip portion. Fits pretty snug but slides off with some force. I printed this at .2 layer height using a 0.4mm nozzle. I also remixed the lid as it was a bit loose when I printed it. Rather than make it tighter I added a "slide-stop" in case I needed to get in there and wiggle things around when changing filament. I added the original files from the z-axis thing so everything is in one spot if anyone needs. These are not modified at all from the above link, just bundling them together. These are the switches I used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HHPD22S
