I'm thoroughly impressed with the original design, the Ender 3 Filament Runout Sensor for Z limit switch by Xqua is truly exceptional. To add an extra layer of stability, I intentionally made the lower layers slightly thicker, which turned out to be a great idea since the original one broke when I tried to remove it from the build plate.
