I designed this bracket that mounts right by the extruder on the ender 3. It was created to hold the filament runout sensor designed by ryroo211 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4073699) This helps if you moved the filament holder to the side of the printer is because I moved the filament holder to side of my printer. I haven't used this for long, but it seems like it is working well so far.
