I upgraded my Ender 3 spool holder, allowing the motor to work less. To do this, I utilized some spare bearings that I had on hand. You may need to secure the bearing by placing it face down on a hard surface and gently tapping it with a hammer to firmly wedge the bearing into place. A Fusion 360 file is included, enabling you to modify the design as you see fit.
