Ender 3 filament holder adaptor for small spools
thingiverse
After a week of testing, I have now released V2, which boasts a stronger neck, making the adaptor less prone to snapping. **A Longer Version of the Holder Has Been Added for Larger Spools** This spool holder was created so that filament from small spools could be used on my Ender 3 with the stock spoolholder. It works fantastically even with larger spools (up to a maximum weight of 1 kg, or a maximum width of 65mm). Alternatively, you can use the longer, untested version and accommodate spools up to 85mm wide. When mounting the adaptor, you can use the stock nuts, eliminating the need for new prints or purchases. If you have lost the original nut, you can print a replacement using this model on Thingiverse. The smaller section of the holder serves as a cap for the side without threads and snaps into place, securely holding the spool in position. This project is now considered complete and will not be subject to any further changes. However, if a major problem arises with the model, I may make adjustments accordingly.
