Ender 3 Filament guide
thingiverse
This is a custom-made filament guide I created using one of my many bearings from my FPV racing hobby collection. It requires an M3 screw that's 10-16mm long, along with a 3ID x 8OD by 4mm wide bearing found in older 2205 brushless motors for multicopters such as those listed on MyRCMart: http://www.myrcmart.com/brushless-motor-bearing-6x8mm-nmb-p-8357.html. The roller features a detachable guide that allows for effortless filament loading. I printed it with PLA and have been using it successfully for some time now. The screw goes through the bearing, then threads into the plastic hole, while the bearing is pressed firmly into the wheel. I designed this to minimize the friction caused by the 90-degree angle of the filament as it enters the extruder, particularly when printing flexible filaments, but it works equally well with PLA and other materials too.
