The guide is a straightforward, slightly curved filament path specifically designed for Creality Ender 3 printers. All that's required for post-processing is to insert a small sponge with an infinitesimally tiny hole inside into a mini container attached to the guide's end. To secure the guide to the frame using a spool holder, you'll need longer bolts than those originally provided, but these are readily available in spare parts from Ender 3 manufacturers.
