I created a system to more effectively steer the filament from the spool, regardless of its position. Even when stored in a dry box. A pass-through piece of bowden tube is held by a thin flange compressed as the nut is tightened. The thread used here is 1/2-12. No additional mounting hardware is needed; the standard screws on your Z nut will suffice. PLA or PETG would be suitable materials for this part. I've included the Fusion 360 file if you need to modify or remix it.
