Ender 3 filament guide - clip on
thingiverse
Ender 3 filament guide. Clips onto the frame. Needs a 3mm bolt and Nyloc nut. I personally dont feel this needs a bearing as its not spinning. Time will tell how long it lasts but its so easy to print another if needed. A smooth pin might be better to preserve the life of the pulley wheel. This can be printed in PLA. The model be slanted to avoid using too much support. Also its best to avoid layer lines being on any of the planes where the object is stressed. Alternatively line width can be increased to 130% to get a better squish and hence much better layer adhesion with PLA. This could also be printed in PETG or ABS to get better strength without much trouble. I suggest Prusa Slicer or Cura. The guide can be removed when feeding filament to give better access, then simply clipped back on the frame. Obviously the filament has to be threaded through the opening before being threaded into the printer and then left having while the filament is threaded into the machine before being clipped back on to commence printing.
