Ender 3 filament guide and runout sensor

Ender 3 filament guide and runout sensor

This is a slight modification to the almost flawless Ender 3 Filament runout sensor and guide with bearing made by blaiseb. I really like how the guide just clips onto the printer, but unfortunately, I encountered an issue where the back of the guide was lifting up over time due to filament tension. Additionally, the space between the bearing (608) and the switch (KW12-3 microswitch) used was incredibly narrow, causing the switch to trigger prematurely even without any filament. To solve these problems, I added a small holder that snaps into place between the z-axis mount and stepper motor. I also adjusted the hole for the switch and bearing mount slightly, increasing the space between the bearing and switch by just a tiny bit. I printed it with "Support Overhang Angle" set to 87 in Cura, resulting in only supports for the added bar. The other overhanging parts printed perfectly without any support. Disclaimer: I'm relatively new to 3D printing, so please be patient if anything doesn't meet your expectations. Thanks, Nic
