Ender 3 Filament Guide

Ender 3 Filament Guide

The Creality Ender 3 Roller filament guide has been my go-to choice so far, but since I've mostly printed with PLA, the part that pushed into the extruded aluminum kept getting loose over time and would fall out occasionally. This updated version prints flawlessly without any supports and is designed to slide over the upper rail, held in place by the factory spool reel holder t-bolts (positioning it between the metal spool holder and printer rail). The bolts may not be long enough, but if you have just a single thread on the t-bolt, you can manage to get it into place and tighten it down (at least with my Ender 3 setup). This is my first upload, so please be kind. Thanks! Modified the original design in Tinkercad for printing on the Creality Ender 3. No supports are needed for this print, and it comes out flat with the "Creality Ender 3" text facing down. I also added a hex pattern as reinforcement, which I think looks great - even if it is mostly hidden. I've included the files from the other filament guide so you can get one skateboard bearing ring and two spacers. The hole for the M3 bolt is open, allowing you to through-bolt it tightly, but I enlarged one side to 4mm to accommodate common M3 brass inserts that can be set using a soldering iron. I'll try to get mine all set up and take some photos soon.
