This is a manual override knob for the extruder motor. Drill a 2.5 mm hole, then tap it to accommodate an M3 screw. This improves grip on the motor shaft significantly. Over time, tapping into plastic proved unreliable, so I modified the design to accept a M2 nut insert instead. Now, a M2 screw is used. For added stability, glue the nut insert firmly in place.
