Ender 3 factory spring compressor
thingiverse
Temporary compressors are designed for those who have used FACTORY SPRINGS but haven't upgraded to stiffer yellow or blue springs yet, wanting a more rigid bed. These compressors will add 5mm of height and/or compress the factory springs by that amount. It's not recommended if your bed will be heated above 65C, such as when printing PETG. A crucial tip: you can adjust your Z-stop limiter switch by 4 to 5mm. If left untouched, the springs will be compressed almost 95% during leveling. I adjusted mine and found the springs were around 75-80% compressed after adjustment.
