Ender 3 - Ender 3 Pro Side Mounted Spool Holder V3
thingiverse
Now compatible with the Ender 3 V2. This remix prints faster and is easier to assemble than my Side Mounted Spool Holder. I have uploaded two variations, each doing the same job but using slightly less plastic in one version. The mounting angle has been adjusted for ease of assembly and printing, while maintaining the exact spool position as before. To attach the stock Ender 3 spool holder, you will need three M5 x 12-16 mm bolts with nuts. Additionally, two to four M4 x 10 mm bolts with T-nuts are required to secure the side 2020 extrusion. Printed with Amazon Basics Orange PETG at 235C, a bed temperature of 70C, and a resolution of .05. The print settings include a speed of 40mms, 30% infill, two perimeters, and a nozzle diameter of 0.8 mm. For a 0.4 mm nozzle, increase the perimeters to three and print at a layer height of 0.25-0.3 mm. Update: August 17, 2020. New versions have been uploaded with all M5 holes and increased clearance for existing holes. The updated design includes variations for the Ender 3 V2, which is six millimeters higher.
