Ender 3 Dual Z axis with single stepper.
thingiverse
Human: Caster's CR-10 dual z axis with single stepper remixed for the Ender 3. The Power supply will need to be spaced out a minimum of 5mm to clear the bracket. I used 2 nylon spacers with fender washers on each side for stability. Parts needed: + 400mm T8 Lead Screw and nut https://goo.gl/s4ayqE + 2 36 tooth pulleys https://goo.gl/FNHT1B (Note: these have a 5mm bore and will need to be drilled out to 8mm). + GT2 timing belt - approximately 800mm. (I simply cut some bulk belt at an angle and CA'd together to make a closed loop belt at the correct size). + 3 688ZZ 16mmx8mmx5mm ball bearings https://goo.gl/sJsbaQ + T8 Lead Screw Lock Collar https://goo.gl/FpFNzy (or do what Caster did and use a flexible shaft coupler) + My four thing files. + Caster's Z_axis_nut_retainer.stl + Caster's Z_axis_nut_block.stl + 4 M5 x 8-10mm button heads two each for the two blocks. + 2 M5 x 35mm button heads for the new bracket. + Possibly 2 M4 caps for the power supply depending on how far you space it out. + Bearing and nut retainers use M3 hardware. https://youtu.be/Y-3BkdmjLs0
