Ender 3 Dual Gear Direct Drive

I really appreciate the design by VrD, but it appears that it was intended for the original Ender 3 extruder and the metal one. My dual gear Winsinn extruder presented a unique challenge, as the part was approximately 10mm off-center from the hotend. This misalignment resulted in an unnatural twist of the bowden tube, creating excessive back pressure on the filament and the extruder itself. To address this issue, I made adjustments to the original design by shifting the opening on the carriage 10mm to the left. This modification allowed for a more straightforward placement of the bowden tube, thereby improving extrusion quality and reducing pressure on the extruder. The original creator, VrD, has truly crafted an excellent design that deserves appreciation, but it seems their intention was geared towards the Ender 3's standard extruder configuration.
