Ender 3 Double Sided Drawer Enclosures to fit Y-Axis Linear Rails
thingiverse
YOU NEED AT LEAST 6MM CLEARANCE UNDER YOUR PRINTER FOR THESE TO FIT! Stock Creality foot pads aren't thick enough to raise the printer high enough for these drawers to fit. I now have Teaching Tech's rear-mounted electronics enclosure and wanted Littlefiver's drawers for both sides of the front of my Ender 3. The problem is I also have Bobblejot's linear rail mod for my Y-axis and the drawers sit too high and block the linear rail. So I've shifted the drawer enclosures downward about 5mm. Littlefiver's drawer enclosure doesn't mirror well as the walls are too thick where they touch in the middle under the belt, so I've narrowed the wall thickness there too so everything fits without having to modify the drawers that go inside. As you can see from the photos it's a very close fit and the Linear Rail Slider is less than 1mm away from rubbing, so watch your clearances carefully. I've only included the modified outer enclosure/shell, the drawers that go inside are available here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3372977 You will need to mirror the top left drawer in your slicer as the handle is off centre. A Blender 2.79b file is also included.
