Ender 3 Display Mount for Right or Left of Frame (with or without SD Card Extender)
thingiverse
**Update 6/21/2018** The left-hand mount needs the screen to be tilted back at a sharper angle or else it will hit the print head during homing. I have updated both of the left mount files and am printing a test now. Once I can confirm that the new designs work, I will remove the "in progress" status. **Updated on 6/20/2018** The right-hand display mount is too bent at an angle not quite right for my setup. I decided to design a mount with the screen at a 45-degree angle and also designed the mount to be used on the left-hand side of the printer, eliminating the need to route the cable under the bed. I added a mount/hole for a MicroSD to SD extender. I have uploaded designs for both right- and left-hand mounts, with and without SD Card slots, and also a black mount with no additional holes so you can easily remix as you wish. I am considering adding a small hinge at the top with a screen cover that can be printed and popped into place when you want to cover the bright screen. Let me know in the comments if that is a modification worth working on (my printers are in a different room, so the light doesn't affect anyone if printing overnight). For a back panel, I use the Enclosure design by Rocco81-92: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2858209. The end of the 404 extrusion will now be exposed. You can print a cap designed by Bobnet (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1758728) to give it a clean look.
