Ender 3 direct drive mount - without need for support
thingiverse
My goal was to remix the original design so I could print it without the need for support. In that case it was split to 2 parts and they can be printed easily. You'll only need 4 screws M3 x 10mm with nuts. Nuts are inserted into gaps - at the bottom there are printed two layers so nuts will not fall through. In my case printed bottom part had a little loose holes (original dimension was r=4.05mm) so I used hot glue gun to fix it tight. In order to prevent this I shrinked holes to r=4.02mm. With STL files I'm uploading and source FreeCAD files so you can modify both parts as you need. - print top part at resolution 0.2 - I printed bottom part at resolution 0.16 because need of 2 bottom layers for nut gaps - you'll also need 4 screws M3 x 10mm with nuts
