Printing it now, but this setup is primarily designed for direct drive extruders with the spool positioned directly above them. I created this arrangement to maintain a slight tension on the filament line, allowing the spool to slide smoothly while minimizing potential issues. Expect to see updates and photos once the project is complete; in this case, I'm using Amazon's Choice PETG 229 along with a heat bed set at 70 degrees Celsius. Raft and bed support are employed for optimal results, requiring approximately four hours of printing time. Performance has been great so far, but I'll continue to fine-tune the setup where it connects to 2020 aluminum stock. Apologies for the photo quality; my cell phone had died, forcing me to use my laptop's camera at night.
