Version 4.0 is completely redesign and you can't use elements from version 1.0. Summary The Fan Mount v 4.0 is very light Direct Drive construction, with ease mount and good cooling effectiveness. Many features was redesign and tested in comparison to earlier versions. Bltouch mount offsets: Distance from head: 27 mm y = - 1.7 mm Screws from bottom too up: AIR DUCT LOWER MOUNT 2x M3X10 or M3X8 - careful it can break or go thru the base ! AIR DUCT UPPER MOUNT 2x M3X15 or M3X20 MAIN FAN MOUNT 4x M3X10 FAN AIR DUCT MOUNT ORYGINALL SCREWS. MAIN BODY MOUNT TO PLATE ORYGINALL SCREWS. Features: - Direct Drive (Design to use: Bondtech dual gear extruder), - Better alignment, - All metal Hot-End (Swiss Hot-End) better compatibility/alignment, - Thicken walls - no more warping, - Cable management, - A hook for vibration / noise reduction, - Bltouch mount, - Air Duct - easy mount from front with mask, - Air Duct air flow redesign with two additional mounting point for more noise and vibration reduction, - Bowden tube leading for friction reduction compared to previous version about 40 %, - Main Fan vortex reduction the air has a linear flow, - Very Light construction, - Some small improvements.
