I wanted to upgrade my Ender 3 to direct-drive capabilities while also incorporating an E3D-style hot end design. This innovative setup utilizes the HeroMe E3D fan duct (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3291101) and the J-Struder extruder (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3070890). As a result, it prints in two separate parts, requiring only minimal support underneath the RJ45 mounts. To establish connectivity between the extruder and electronics, I employed RJ45 breakout boards and WAGO lever nuts.
