This design presses firmly over the stock fan cover on the Ender 3, accommodating a Harbor Freight dial gauge with a snug fit. The magnets are likely unnecessary due to this secure fit. To install the dial gauge, simply push it into the provided slot, which also offers a tight fit. My goal was to achieve maximum rigidity in this setup. The gauge can be positioned either above or below the fan for optimal results. It proved to be an invaluable tool for leveling the bed with pinpoint accuracy.
