Ender 3 / CR10 closed loop stepper BIGTREETECH s42a Z axis holder
thingiverse
I'm using BLTouch sensor for compensation. During prints, I discovered that the Z axis stepper loses some microsteps due to the bed compensating microsteps during X-Y linear movements. Because of this, I designed a motor holder for my Ender-3, now I don't have step loss on the Z axis. As an experienced user, the servo typically has 0.5˙ max position error, which means 0.011mm precision on the Z axis. It is also compatible with my BMG direct extruder design and later dual Z belt drive upgrade. Minimal required parts: * 2x - M5x20mm screws * 2x - M5 slot nuts * 2x - washers for M3 screws For fixing a motor, I used two of its own M3x40mm screws.
