X axis linear rail conversion for the Ender 3 replaces traditional carriage with a custom printed one, utilizing a new belt attachment system that eliminates the need for drilling. The top V-slot wheel mounts are repurposed to provide a sturdy anchoring point for the belts. Since the belt is now positioned above the gantry, you will need to invert the X direction in your firmware or reverse the X stepper motor wires. A longer belt will also be required.
