Ender 3/CR-10 X-Axis LED Mount
thingiverse
I didn't like any of the Ender 3 LED mounts available, so I decided to make my own mount. The design attaches to the center rear of the X-Axis using standard Creality M4 rail hardware. If you upgrade your main board for sensorless homing, use the Y-Axis end stop switch mount's hardware to secure this one instead. Since it's attached to the X-Axis, the print area will stay lit all the time without adding weight to the print head as the Z-screw raises. Two prints should support most 5050 LED strips, including WS2812/Neopixel addressable LEDs. The compact variant is designed for 144/m LED strips and the standard one for 60/m strips (30 work fine too). The size hits across the print surface but not so wide that binder clips can't hold the build plate in place.
