Special thanks to original creator Greg191134 of "The Tank" Bondtech BMG + E3D v6 Print Head https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3080548 The original model is truly exceptional and will suit most users perfectly. However, I wanted a design that didn't require complete disassembly for unclogging my v6 (clogs are entirely my fault, not the model's issue - I use an excessive amount of cheap filament). I utilized the .stp file from the original model (once again, many thanks to Greg191134 for including it) and redesigned the top to securely hold the clone Bondtech in place while allowing the v6 to be easily inserted and removed without requiring anything apart except the front section. The BLtouch mount was attached to the back, eliminating the need to remove it for any repairs or adjustments. A new hole was drilled through the front to provide additional stability by screwing in the carriage. (Please refer to the illustration for a clearer understanding). The rest of the remix focused on minimizing the original design to create a more compact model. I plan to revisit and revise this design further, including relocating the stepper motor to the front and optimizing the wiring arrangement. Initially, I used a pancake stepper with this setup, which won't fit without rotating the top section. Printed in PETG (using nozzle offsets of +32mm on X and -2mm on Y). The design is fully compatible with the Prusa new 45° fan shroud. On September 27th, 2019, a spacer was added with larger holes for accommodating bigger zipties. On February 25th, 2020, an updated back piece was designed specifically for use with front-facing stepper motors. The new update renders the previous spacer unnecessary. A wire management tie mount was also incorporated into the revised design. On April 23rd, 2020, a new back piece without the BLtouch holder was added, catering to users who prefer manual bed leveling instead.
