Ender 3 Cooling Ring

Ender 3 Cooling Ring

thingiverse

I've had tremendous success with ring style fan ducts on my DIY printers in the past, so I decided to create a new, sleeker version for my Ender 3. After searching extensively, I found one design by Filboyt on Thingiverse that I liked, but I wanted to improve it further. Filboyt's original design is excellent, and I borrowed his mounting method, which is why I'm giving him credit here. To be clear, this design is completely from scratch, not a remix of anyone else's work. Printing with the stock Ender 3 fan duct should suffice, but I highly recommend reprinting with this ring duct installed for better results, especially on internal prints. This design is specifically tailored for the newer Ender 3 model. If someone would like it modified for a different Ender model and can provide dimensions, I'd be happy to create a variation. The Ring Duct mounts using the two lower screws that the stock duct uses (see pic 2). When installed correctly, your nozzle should protrude just below the bottom of the ring duct (see pic 3).
