the screws for the part cooling fan is 9.5mm long, it really only needs to be 4.5mm long. I upgraded the hot end fan to a Noctua NF-A4x10 FLX. that fan takes up the whole space inside the fan housing. before the screws would just go all the way in, now they hit the Noctua fan, but not screwed in all the way. Rather than buying new screws, I just made these 4mm tall spacers. the cap of the screw is 3.6mm wide, the spacer is 4mm wide. the ID of the spacer is just big enough for the threaded part of the screw to go through.
