Ender 3 Cooling Fan Duct
thingiverse
This is just a small duct to redirect the air coming into the main cooling fan for the stock head of the Ender 3. This is just to change the airflow to pull cooler air in that hasn't been heated by the bed. This is by no means a necessary upgrade but the fans that come stock on the Ender 3 are very small and do not have a lot of power so in my mind any help to the cooling power is very nice. I upgraded to a new setup entirely that I designed so I won't be using this anymore but I did use this for dozens of prints and it worked just fine. Whether or not it actually helped much or not I never tested but I do believe it would. Installing it is pretty easy. All you need to do is take off the 4 screws holding on the centrifugal fan and take it and the small duct below it off. Then, fit the guide of this part into the vent on the left side of the print head and then line up the holes on the right side with the holes for the fan. When they are aligned put the fan and the old duct back in place and Tighten it back up making sure to put the two longer screws on the bottom to hold the old duct in place properly. The file can be printed in the orientation that it is in just make sure that there are supports for both the guide arm and the screw holes. I didn't add them in for the screw holes and it made the one not print properly but it still held so it didn't really matter.
