Ender 3 - Control Box - CAIMEO
thingiverse
Print the control box like in the photo, making sure its bottom rests on the bed. I created two distinct top covers. The first one features three Noctua 40 mm fans (you can easily hear their sound at 25 db). However, I preferred a quieter setup, so I purchased an Arctic F8 Silent fan (80x80x25 mm) and redesigned the top accordingly. You'll notice that some STL 3D files differ from the images, as I made several upgrades. The print was done using CURA with settings of 0.6 mm layer thickness, 0.48 layer height, Ender 3 Stock CURA profile, PLA material, and Tree Support (a Cura experimental feature). To achieve better results, remove normal supports when you select tree support. I designed the bed for the motherboard in the control box without any pre-drilled holes, as some users may employ a different board, such as an MKS. Simply use a soldering tool to suit your needs.
