I created my own mounting system for an E3d Chimera+ hotend on an Ender 3 carriage due to limited options available. After about six months of use, it has performed flawlessly. I've successfully printed at speeds up to 80mm/s without encountering any ringing issues in my prints. My design can accommodate two 5015 blower fans, and future upgrades include implementing a BL touch sensor for improved performance. Additionally, the mounting system includes a direct drive mount for a single extruder motor, allowing me to try printing with flex filaments that are notoriously difficult to work with using a Bowden setup.
