Ender 3 case with lid fans

Ender 3 case with lid fans

thingiverse

This is an edited version of All in one Ender 3 case for MKS or SKR v1.3. I removed the original fan and placed a fan on both lids. I know it doesn't look perfect, but I found it the easiest way to design if you want to achieve better cooling results. There are two versions available for the left case: one with a second buck converter placed where the original fan was (2buck) and another with just an empty space where the original fan was (no_air). As you might have noticed, I closed off air slots because this case is designed to work with one fan sucking air in and the other fan blowing it out. This should result in better cooling. Both fans are placed on different sides of the case so that the air can travel through the whole thing. Print settings should be the same as for the original design. Note: I haven't printed this yet, but I would greatly appreciate any feedback you could give me! Update: I just realized that you won't be able to slide the lid into place because there is a fan mounted underneath it. However, I think this can be worked around by assembling the whole box outside of the printer and then sliding it into its final position. Let me know if this approach works!
