<p>Ender 3 Cable Channel Protective VENT</p> <p>This is a protective cover/channel VENT for the cable entry to the mainboard on the Ender3 (not PRO). This only works for the Ender3 with the motherboard mounted facing up. If you have the type with the motherboard upside down (like the Pro), see that version here:</p> <p><a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4202557">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4202557</a></p> <p><strong>This will block the hole where the cables normally go into the control box, and is designed for people who have done mods to move their control box to the rear of the printer, leaving the cable pass through hole unused. This is not tested and I will leave it in work in progress. It should fit however since it was remixed from a tested design.</strong> If you need the cable passthrough protector, see the thing this was remixed from here:<br/> <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2996568/">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2996568/</a><em>**</em></p> <p>To install it, an M4x8mm screw and t-nut will be required.</p> <p>This was designed for a hole that is 40x20mm and the channel extends approximately 44.5mm into the channel. There is a shorter version which only extends 41mm into the channel (to avoid interference with parts that may sit flush to the extrusion).</p> <p>This part is not oriented for printing.</p> <p>The STEP file is included for easy remixing.</p> Category: 3D Printer Parts
