Here's a case I designed to fit a buck converter for the ender 3. It utilizes this converter available on amazon.com: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CR81PYG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This design taps into the existing fan feed and only necessitates a 6" jumper (red, black) to connect the melzi hotend fan output to the converter's input. By employing this buck converter, you can reduce the ender 3's 24VDC fan voltage down to 12VDC, enabling you to utilize the efficient and quiet noctua fans. The lid of the case clicks securely into place, and it fits perfectly sideways between the melzi and the frame without requiring any screws. I hope you enjoy this design!
