I've designed a custom motherboard cover that accommodates a 70mm fan, making it easy to repurpose an old AMD CPU cooling system's fan. This type of fan operates on 12V voltage, so you'll need a step-down converter to reduce the voltage to 9V or lower. I opted for the LM2956 module, which should be discreetly installed adjacent to the fan. Alternatively, you can use the 12V setting without a step-down module if you prefer your fan to run at maximum speed under 12V.
